bio
Initially trained in photography by his father George E. Huftalen, a commercial photographer, Mr. Huftalen has been using a camera continuously since the age of thirteen. Mr. Huftalen has had a wide range of experience in catalog and industrial photography through his employment as a visual arts manager in the children’s wear industry. His images encompass a wide range of subject material in subjects ranging from still life to landscape in camera formats from 35mm to 8 x 10 and digital. He is currently the proprietor of his own business, JLH Photographics, through which he sells and licenses his art work. John Huftalen’s work appears often at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.
